Short answer

Platform calls are metered under the current displayed rules; local BYOK is generally billed by the provider. Follow the actual connection path and bill for prices and limits.

How do usage records relate to account balance?

A usage record describes a request and its metering result. Balance or Credits represent funds or allowances in a Lumoswitch account for eligible platform services; they are different measures. Final charges may also depend on model prices, account state, reservations, or deployment rules. Do not estimate the final balance change from a single token count.

Does BYOK mean there is no charge?

No. BYOK means using credentials you provide, not that the provider is free. A local direct request goes to the provider, so check that provider account and bill for prices and limits. For hosted BYOK, confirm who charges the request from the current connection path and bill. Additional model calls, such as relationship-memory organization, may also incur a charge.

Where can I find the applicable price?

Use the model connection page, the applicable Lumoswitch pricing or billing page, and the selected provider's console. Check currency, input and output rates, cache or other metering items, and effective dates. A model appearing in a catalog does not mean it is available for your account, region, or connection path, and is not a promise of a fixed free quota.
