How do I choose and install a community Skill?

Use the community to discover resources; review compatibility, files, and conflicts in the app before installing.
What should I check before installing?
Read the purpose, author, version, supported agents, file list, and permission information. Confirm that the Skill fits your task. A visible community entry is not automatically trusted or installable; older formats or resources that do not meet artifact requirements may be preview-only.
How do I install it?
In Lumoswitch desktop, open Skills, choose the community resource, and review the installation screen. Check the destination, file integrity, and name conflicts; installation happens only after confirmation. Directory Skills retain companion files and agent-specific metadata. The app does not install dependencies or inject credentials for you.
Will every agent use the Skill after installation?
No, it does not become active in every agent automatically. In Skills, choose the target agent and add the Skill; open a new session afterward as prompted. In a Workspace conversation, use the Skills picker to choose Automatic, Choose Skills, or Off; changes apply from your next message. Check an external agent's own global disable settings or project overrides there—Lumoswitch does not change them for you.
