What should I inspect first?
Compare the Skill's goal with your task, then check supported agents, version, author, update history, files, and permission notes. If the description is vague, the source is unclear, or requested access exceeds the task, preview it or choose a narrower option.
Can the installation review determine whether all content is safe?
No. The app checks file integrity, directory boundaries, and conflicts and shows declarations for review; that does not prove third-party instructions are harmless, accurate, or appropriate for your data. Read the instructions and tool notes, and avoid exposing sensitive files to an unreviewed Skill.
Can I install one Skill to any agent?
Do not assume cross-agent compatibility. The app uses supported directory adapters to preserve Skill files, but it does not translate content between agents; each agent decides which instructions it can load. Choose an explicitly compatible agent and validate with a non-sensitive example in a new session.
