How do I enable, review, or disable Da Fei Yu memory?
Learn the difference between recent conversation, relationship, and fixed memories, including encryption and default-off behavior.

Memory types are managed separately and default to off; changing a switch pauses QQ and requires reconnection, while disabling alone keeps saved content.
Is persistent memory enabled by default?
No. Recent conversation, relationship memory, and manually fixed memory are managed separately, with different switches and content boundaries. Open the memory section of a playbook and enable only what you need. Review the notice that model-based relationship-memory organization may make additional model calls. Group context is separate and does not read private-chat memory.
What is saved, and how can I review it?
Recent conversation keeps a limited number of turns. Relationship memory organizes explicitly stated user preferences and similar details in batches. Fixed memory is maintained by you. Data is encrypted with system secure storage; ordinary lists do not return the content, so open the review screen when you want to read it. Memory cannot be enabled if secure storage is unavailable, and a save failure does not fall back to plaintext.
What happens when I turn memory off or clear it?
Turning off a memory type pauses its use and updates but keeps the existing content available to review or enable later. Clearing it deletes the selected type; manage each type separately. Changing memory switches, clearing data, or editing fixed memory pauses QQ and cancels pending replies, so reconnect manually afterward. Deleted content is not guaranteed to be recoverable from backups, and this does not delete QQ platform chat history.
